North Korea's government media announced on Monday that Britain's King Charles has sent a message congratulating North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on the anniversary of the founding of North Korea.

According to the news agency KCNA, the message stated, 'As the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea celebrate their National Day, I send my best wishes for the future.'

Reportedly, Kim received messages for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the country from leaders of several countries, including Singapore, Nepal, Bahrain, and Mozambique.

For nearly seven decades under the rule of the Kim family, the country celebrated the anniversary with a semi-military parade, in which Kim Jong Un and his daughter Kim Ju Ae participated.

Kim also received greetings from China's Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin. According to KCNA's report, industrial workers also marched at Pyongyang's Kim Il Sung Square as part of the parade."
